We had a busy evening tonight! First, we went to the Melbourne Light Parade--awesome, by the way--it took 2 hours for the all the floats to go by us! Then we came home and saw the space shuttle launch! This picture--blurry, I know--sorry--is from the float of a friend of mine--behind the fish are puppeteers! They were on a big semi--they were the best float!  

No, this isn't an eclipse--it's Space Shuttle Discovery! This was the first night shuttle launch in more than 3 years. This view is right outside our house, and liftoff LIT UP the sky like daytime! It was truly a cool sight! We could see the shuttle longer tonight, too, than we see them during the day; I think we watched for about 5 minutes!
