Once a year, Kennedy Space Center has a weekend where Brevard County residents (that's us!) get in free! So CJ and Dyan went up today to check it out. We haven't been there in a while, and it was a great way to spend the day! There's a lot of cool things to see and do, but here's one that gets me every time. It's the Space Mirror--a memorial to the astronauts that have given their lives for the space program. It's at the back of the "park", and it's very quiet back there--a solemn place for a memorial. The second row up from the bottom (2 squares together) is the Challenger crew's names and the set above it is the Columbia crew.  Posted by Picasa
